I just purchased a 1953 dodge panel without a hood, but I know where there is a 1/2 ton 47 pickup would that hood fit????

In short, NO the 47 hood won't fit. You'll need one from a 51-53 truck.

Brad, thanks for the reply, Is the shape of the hood different or is it only trim/hinge items that are different?? Presently I'm working on a 49 Chev Pickup and I changed it to a full tilt front end and I plan on doing the same on the Dodge. I don't have any experience with dodge though>

the hood is way different, and will have no way of bolting up
