Hey all,
I've run into a slight problem. While I was attempting to remove a broken driver's door wing- window I used a little too much "persuasion" and broke the piece on the bottom of the window. The piece I'm talking about is the part that goes from the bottom of the window into the door and allows the window to pivot out. I removed the entire assembly afterward and the spring, nut and washers that are concealed within the door are fine but the other piece is broken in half. Does anyone know what this piece is called, where one can be obtained or if this is something a glass shop might be able to replace with something they have around? Any thoughts? Jay

Sounds like you're talking about the pivot shaft. My recollection is that it's one piece with the window frame. I'd think that unless you can do some tricky welding, you are out of luck. You can get another complete vent window at a salvage yard for $30 or so. Check pilot-house.com links.
