Hey yall, im new to all of this, and just bought a 1949 B-1-C. Im taking the wing windows out and filling the space in with metal. Im going to sale the two wing windows, they are in good condition, scratched a little but not to bad. Ive got the original seat, springs and frame. I dont know if the seat is an Air-O-Ride cause i just read about that in the forum. I also have both mirrors (was told they are original, not for sure) for sale. Im also going to remove the original flat head 6 cyl. (size i have no clue) and going to sale it as well.
I read in the forum, i believe it was DanaJ, but not positive about that. That they have an old v8 with the oil bath filter and wanted the original flat 6 to replace it with. So whomever has this older v8 and if you still dont have a flat 6 to swap out, i will be more than happy to trade you for the older v8. I was told from the guy i bought the truck from that it did run when he parked it... i havent tried it so i dont know if it still does, but im sure with a little work it will run again.
Anyway ive wrote my book and yall will probably hear from me some more for help.
