I found out that the Spitfire engine that I want to install in my 51 B3C is from a 53 Chrysler and has 264.5 cubic inches. The engine is completly rebuilt and ready to assemble. BUT, after getting it home I found that the Main caps are missing for the block. I contacted the seller and after 2 weeks of looking he can't find them. Does anyone know of any Main caps I could purchase or maybe another engine of the same size that I could use the caps from and have them line bored to fit my block? Are there other engines like the 230 maybe that has the same main caps? Really need some help here, I want this engine my truck pretty bad. Thanks for all your support. Jamesbee

I tore down a big six a while back and don't throw anything out. I may have a complete set of caps, will check my storage shed tomorrow and see if I can find them. Which ones do you need ? Do you have any part numbers ? The 218/230 caps won't work, journals are different. Email me direct.

Have a spitfire in a 52 b3b head loose, pulling out and replacing with V8. Will sell parts pieces.
