Can anyone tell me what size engine this truck has. Its a flat head straight six. Any info will help. Plus can someone tell me where i can get a rebuild kit for it. Thanks

All 1949 Dodge B1C trucks had 218 cubic inch engines. Can't help you on rebuild kits, but I understand that all rebuild parts are readily available.

Try your local parts store, Nappa etc. Most parts are available at more reasonable prices from these suppliers versus the dealers that specialize in Mopar.

Go to http://www.kanter.com as they have rebuild kits for all the flatheads. They are not cheap, but available. Looking at a kit now myself and doing the rebuild during the winter.
