My 51 Fargo has a cutout in the dash consisting of one horizontal rectangle, one smaller rectangle underneath it and two seperate holes for the knobs. It looks like a factory cutout. What model radio should be in cutout or is there a delete plate. If anyone has info. or any of these items please reply.

Brent,
If you can send me a template of your radio cut out on the dash I will match it up to one of several used Mopar radios I have. It sounds like the cut out for a model 610T or similar.

I have a 1950 Fargo with a tag on the radio.
It reads Philco 121 code.
I also have a 1949 dodge with a dash plate that
covers the holes.
Fargo Histery on the Chrysler web site says the
same radio was used in a '49 Plymoth.
My '52 Fargo has no dash cutout for a radio but
still uses the same speaker cover.
