I've got a (218 cu in?)flathead inline 6 engine and three speed tranny from a 1949 b1b that I want to get rid of. It would appear to be a regular b1b engine but the oilpan is identical to one from a Power Wagon,
maybe they are interchangable. The engine ran about 8 months ago after which I ran out of gas and I never bothered to re-fuel. I don't know much about this particlar engine but I'll try to answer any questions I can. It may be a while before I have the engine out of the truck, so anybody interested in buying should be prepared to wait.

I will also have other asorted b1b truck parts to get rid of so if interested in any thing specific let me know and I'll tell you if I have it.

Where is the engine located. (I'm in the Placerville area...near Sacramento) How much are you asking for it? Sounds like it might not have been running very well when you ran out of gas, and that it may need to be rebuilt...what do you think? marty 530 295-3769

Yes, the engine is still for sale. I'm thinking I'd like to sell it for around a $100.

Hi Pete. I can't part with any of the pieces to my truck bed. Sorry.
What interior door parts do you need? I don't
have many salvagable door parts myself, unfortunately.
As far as the grill goes does your truck have the three horizontal grill bars? If it does I may be able to help you there; I have the bottom two stainless bars but not the top one.
Can't give you my front fender. That is crucial for me to keep.
If you respond to this and have an email adress please post it so that I can make further contact with you that way. I find it easier. Thank you.
My email is rdyoungs@myexcel.com

Hi Phil, The engine was running until I ran out of gas, at which point I decided to sell the engine. I don't know about the bell housing. If you could give me some kind of bolt pattern on the 4sp tranny I can check to see if it will mate to my bell housing.

I'm not ready to part with my fenders, and the grille is already sold.

If I could get your email that would be great. Mine is jrlyoungs@myexcel.com.
