I recently purchased a nice 49 1/2 without a box. And I would like to buy one. What year box will fit ?? Will any other makes (Chevy or Ford) interchange. Located in Penna.

Hi Ken,
Ive got a '49 1/2 ton that had a mid '50s bed on it. In my opinion the big fenders from the '50s trucks tie in, and look real good on the '49 pickups. If you email me at jrlyouings@myexcel.com I can send you pics of the mounting hardware That was used to make the switch on my truck.
