Hi everyone,

I recently acquired a 1953 B4B-108 and I would like to see if you can help me with these following numbers I have found on the engine and transmission.
The engine no. is T306*157433*
I think the transmission no. is C88221
The V.I.N. no. is 85326267

If any of this makes sense to you, I would appreciate whatever information I could gather on this fine truck.

Thanks,

Marc

B4B indicates it's a '53 1/2 ton. 108 is the wheelbase. Last model in the Pilothouse "B" series. T306 is the engineering code for the model and is correct for the year. Most likely is the original engine. VIN indicates truck was made in California, 4,266 unit in the '53 1/2 ton production run. FYI, the other Pilothouse resource on the net is www.pilot-house.com
