I have a 50 1 1/2 ton cab that i mounted on a 1995 ram 1500 4x4 frame. It was very easy to do with the front cab mounts linning up.I made rear mounts and grill mounts.I used the 95 steering colume.emergancy brake, and gas& brake peds. The truck has a5.9 magmun motor electric fuel injection, power brakes, auto trans.4 wheel drive.I found a 1950 pick up box that lined up.I did have to rase the inside of the box to clear the gas tank on the 95 frame. With the truck done it looks just like a 50 ,but drives and rides like a 95.Most think it is a old power wagon and I have to tell them what it realy is.The 95 came with a trailer towing package. You should see the looks I get when I have my 16 foot trailer and a nother old car on it.running 65/70 mph down the road.I was able to do the truck for just under $8000.00.Good luck with yours

Hi! I own a 50 Dodge 1/2 ton that I streetrodded. I put a 74 Cuda 318 in it and used the old frame. I used 4x4 square tubeing and welded it to the frame for the motor mounts to sit on. I also used 4x4 tubeing for the trans mount because I couldn't find one long enough to fit. I also had to cut a hole in the fire wall fot the engine to fit. If you e-mail me I'll send you some pics of my truck. I've owned this truck for 23yrs and I've won many, many trophies over the yrs and it was in 3 magazines. I used the old steering box and springs and front axel. I have a 8 3/4" sure-grip 3:23 gears from a 82 Ram p/u. E-mail me and I'll tell you more........
