Fuel Economy

Try running a good brand of diesel injector cleaner ( Nulon ) say three bottles, one in each of your next three full tanks. These vehicles have spent the last 8 or 9 years in stop start heavy Japanese traffic. My 3 litre was very sluggish and thirsty when I got it but now I regularly get 12 litres per 100 klms. You have to adjust your driving habits too. They are not like petrol engined vehicles where under load you just plant your foot and you go faster. In a diesel you just pump the fuel straight out the exhaust.
