Chains

Hi,

I purchased a 1998 Toyota 4Runner this summer and
I was wondering about chains. Mine is a 2W and not 4W. I was looking for space as opposed to 4w so that was my reason for not getting 4w.

However, I have become concerned about driving in snow and or ice. Hopefully, I won't have to deal with this but we had an ice storm last week and that got me worried. My last car was a Celica and I had front wheel drive so I'm not use to 2W and I just don't know what to expect. Should I get chains? Can I use chains? Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated!
