I recently bought a new 99 4Runner (2WD) w/ 16" wheels. After driving it one nite on the streets and on the freeway, i noticed that my shifter rocks back and forth! Its not just slight movement, its ROCKING! It gets much worse when you speed up.
The dealer's mechanic says its normal, but after paying $30Gs, I dont expect this kind of rocking nonsense.
