79 toyota help

my 79 4x4 pickup has a new motor in it and the person i bought it from has no idea what year it is and the carb need to be rebuilt. the motor now is not a 79, i think its a 22r but don't know what year the number stamped into the block is 0524841 if anyone can help with a year thank would be great
