ECT and Jap scribble is this sex?

The red button is when you put your gear lever in "Park" position you cannot bring it out of that position unless you start your surf and press the button on top of the gear lever and press brake pedal. But if you want to bring it out of "Park" posn without starting the engine, press the red button and pull the gear to any other position. your ECT button when pressed gives you a more sporty response. I bought my surf about eight months ago and it did not have the owner's manual with it and I got it through internet from Australia though I live in Pakistan. I find my surf also heavy on fuel. But it is comfortable and I have not yet tested it in the mountains which I am likely to do in about a month or two then I will really know how good it is as my other jeep Diahatsu Rocky has given me excellant service in toughest of conditions though it is not as comfortable as surf. Weather here is hot goes upto 45 c. I have to fill up the radiator water tank (plastic bottle) once a week which I think is sooner than it should be and have tried to locate any leakages but could not find it. what is your expereince of it. I have Surf 1992 turbo diesel auto. Thank you. Happy Surfing.
