Hi Richard,
"Gutless aren't they.. 2" OD is standard. I changed mine to 2.5" from the turbo back and used a straight through "turbo" type after market muffler. It improved the economy and marginally increased the performance.
Still not satisfied, I approached Castlemaine Rod Shop and am currently fitting a Commodore VT 3.8 V6 to it. That'll fix it.....
