I made it half way!

I had simple surgery on my foot yesterday and the doctor told me not to do the March of Dimes walk but I had promised and taken donations so I did half of it. Dixie and Lauren did the whole 5 miles. It was a lot of fun. If there is one in your area you should go because it's a great family day out, free food, games and things for the kids. Lots of fun.

The surgery was because I had a peice of glass in my foot. With the neuropathy I didn't even know I had glass in my foot. I thought it was just the usual pain. It got really infected and the swelling pushed the glass in really deep. The doctor had to cut way in to dig it out! eeesh!


BTW, new doctor...set me up with pain management first thing. She said the pain was the root of a lot of the problems!!! Thank the gods! Finally one who really cares and knows her job! I think I may actually be getting better soon after 10 years!!!!
