to give up on Flash player software. I ventured to install ShockWave and the process went smoothly and it works fine. It even shows in my Program Folder, unlike that stubborn Flash player. Weirdly enough, I must have an old flash player installed somewhere (Macromedia?) because in my extensive job of restoring my IncrediMail data, an animation came up saying it was being run by that version of flash. I wouldn't have a clue how to find that in this machine!

But at least Shockwave is working...even though I still cannot view online videos on dial-up. There are some dandy H:tLJ YouTube vids out there, I saw the links on another forum...but I can't view the vids. sad.gif

There is supposedly a plugin you can use on Firefox to save YouTube vids to your own hard drive. But I am leery, I don't go around just downloading anything from any site, it's too risky out there these days.
