And there's another trip in the planning. Several weeks ago, my mom mentioned the possibility of her and Dad taking a couple weeks vacation to see Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument then either Yellowstone or Branson. Then it looked like the trip would be put off til next summer. But now it's back on... it's Yellowstone, not Branson... and the plan includes me joining them {VBG}. Their original kernel of a plan was to take 10 days to 2 weeks in early Sept. Now, however, it's looking like it will be late Sept. Dad asked me to surf the net for "things to see" ideas because his internet is deadly slow. I discovered that the annual buffalo roundup at Custer National Park, SD, is something like Sept. 27 and he's keen on seeing that

{{{Quilla}}}} sounds like a good trip. I've never been up to that part of the country, I only got as far north as places in Montana but that was straight north not that Dakotas part of the country.

we had a record hot July but August is seeming more normal. Still hot but the cooling bills go down a little from here and the evenings and mornings get cooler every few days it seems to me--or I'm just telling myself that to courage fall thought.
