I have always been a fan of K.T.'s--ever since I saw her open for Randy Travis at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, Mo. in the late 80's.

I think she is one of those "one in a lifetime phenomenon" that doesn't happen very often; but assuredly, are meant to happen. (However, it didn't "just happen".) Everything that transpired, she planned for and worked hard at, step by step. From moving to NY and being on stage, which gave her grace and poise, to acquiring "jingle-jobs", to further her writing ability, (which is a true gift in and of itself) to acquiring a piano to further hone her remarkable talent and skills. She couldn't have planned any of this any better--all of which lead to her eventual success. And what a phenomenal success it was! The only problem was that her career was way too short. In my mind, she is the perfect success story and how tenaciousness and perseverance can/does pay off for someone that believes in herself and has a true gift. How can you not respect someone like that?

Her voice, her whole persona, in my opinion, is unmatched by anyone in the industry, today. You can't help but love her!!!!!!!!!!!
