I was in a magazine store and while I didn't have my glasses with me (can't read w/o them). I asked my boyfriend to read Billboad. He saw a mention of the album in a column. As well as I beleive he saw, or the mention said it is at position 49 I believe (could have even been 39). This issue was dated 7/7.

Anyone else have access that can fill in more details?

We have a wedding to attend tomorrow night...but if I can make it to a bookstore over the weekend, I'll be happy to check out Billboard....unless someone else on this board does the research first......

I was able to check the July 7th edition of Billboard Magazine very quickly tonight at a Waldenbooks in our Mall (we were with alot of family....so I couldn't take the time to write anything up, sorry!). Anyway, LIVE CLOSE BY is at number 35 on the charts...and there WAS a write up - typical of everything we've been seeing...very complimentary, etc. Hoping I can check the next edition of Billboard when it's out since I forgot to pay one of my bills at the Mall ANYWAY and have to go back (hmmm....convenient excuse! LOL)

Man, I wish that Billboard would be easier to find in this town.Even in Nashville it's hard to catch a copy on the shelf because BB is like the weekly sermon of who needs to be smilin' that week. I guess I will continue to be a week behind and mooch them off of my record store friends. As long as K.T. is at 35 like I've heard, that's ok with me. Now, when it hits 1, I'll have to subscribe to BB.

Brien - I would LOVE to subscribe...but the magazine is so darn expensive! And I feel SO guilty in the bookstores - like the "Billboard Police" are watching me....because I NEVER buy a copy....I just stand there and READ it! In Barnes & Noble, they have this huge window ledge where the newspapers and some stray magazines go....and I'll just SIT there, take out paper, and COPY word for word whatever I need to so I can post the news, fearing the "Billboard Police" are gonna catch me someday! Hey, Barnes & Noble is SET UP for couch potatoes....chairs everywhere, people reading and snoozing....LOL

Anyway, hoping BIG TIME the single continues to move UP those charts...!!!

i do it all the time! i grab me a soda, ( and/or something to eat) a good stack of mags and just read.
i think alot of people do the same thing!! i guess they expect people to do that.
i havent had much a chance to get over to barnes and noble. ( i no longer work at the mall so its hard to get a day off to go over..and by the time i get off, im beat)but i check the "Country weekly" page.. i dont know about other mags.
im really satisfied that K.T. is even ON the charts. thats a great sign.KEEP IT BURNIN K.T.!!
