I am a professional oceanography (now retired) and was an avid scuba diver for many years (I made my first dive in 1949!) , but advancing age and cold water proved to be a combination which said it was time to move on. I still maintain my interest in scuba however and live in a waterfront home between Spring Bay and 10 Mile Point.

I have been toying with the idea of setting up a web cam/website 24/7 of ocean conditions on the point. Just a simple camera to show wave action with a 5 minute refresh rate. Do you think this would be of interest to divers in choosing their dive site or provide any information which is not already available to divers?
