Heya

I am moving from the micromecca of Ontario diving to victoria in the fall. One thing I have heard is that BC coastal waters are positively artic compaired to the tropics of the st lawrence seeway.

Do i need a drysuit to dive bc?

I often dive with a wetsuit in B.C. It should be the full 7mm farmer john style and fit fairly snug. In the summer a wetsuit should definetly be fine. In the winter, repetitive dives can be a problem, especially if you're boat diving. I don't even want to think about doing 20 knots to the next dive site wearing a dripping wetsuit during freezing weather.
