It is official. We are driving out (with our entourage!) on May 30. My 22 year old daughter is a firefighter/emt and her fiance are driving out with us to live out there,too. I have a 12 year old son (almost 13). We have a yellow lab and a small papillon dog. WE ARE SO EXCITED TO BE COMING OUT, WE LOVE DIVIDE! Anyway, we all love hiking and if you could recommend places that we can take dogs I would appreciate it. I know Mueller does not like dogs there although in the winter they let us once because there are not a lot of people there. My son plays travel basketball here. He is 5'11" and 175 pounds (big for 12). Do you know of any place where he can continue with basketball once he gets out there? Our ymca has recreation basketball teams and I not sure if the one in Woodland Park does.
Maybe we can get together with the dogs for a walk/hike sometime!
