I want to quickly say "thanks" for the awesome pictures. I have visited the site for the last year. What wonderful pictures!

I am from Wichita, KS, and spend about 4 weeks a year in Woodland Park area and am attempting to move beyound tourist to participant. During the school year I am a student (working on a 2nd Master Degree) & a school counselor. I have 3 boys. Our family loves to fish, hike, ski, and go on day trips.

However, I am the only one that would like to climb a 14er. Last summer my most difficult hike was rated difficult and we hiked 7.5 miles out by Divide. It was worth the effort - the view was breathtaking. I have a picture of the forrest fire from the top looking toward Buena Vista.

I'm looking for an organized group to meet up with when I am out. I'd like to try Mt. Albert (summer 2009), Mt. Princeton at some point, and the back side of Pikes Peak. I have been told not to hike alone and am always looking for local people to join. Any advice anyone could give would be much appreciated!
