One night back in Sept. 2006 I searched the web for Colorado pictures and your site came up. I have been a faithful daily visitor ever since!! I also visit your Mt. Princeton site daily. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate all the time and effort it must take to update these sites. I love your pictures and videos, and you do a great job of explaining what you are seeing and doing. I have learned more from this site then any other website or travel book. I live in north central Kansas, so even though I am only 6-7 hours away, it is still hard to get out there as much as I would like. You give me my mountain "fix" from my living room! We are planning a trip to the Leadville & Twin Lakes region this year. I am so excited because I have never been there. And of course I will have to head south and see Mt. Princeton and Cottonwood pass in person! Thank you again Steve, you are an amazing person! Good luck in all your future endeavors, although I selfishly hope you don't leave Colorado!!
I also wanted to tell Mtsrool Lisa that her pictures are breathtaking! I found her blog through the forum and visit it daily too! Thank you!!!!
I have not been to Mt. Sunflower. I'm always too excited about getting to Colorado to stop! On my way home, I am too busy pouting that I'm back in Kansas to stop!
By the way, I enjoyed your trip to the Pioneer Village in Minden. My tiny town of Athol, KS is about 1 hour straight south of Minden, so I have been there many times. My kids love it! Kearney, NE is our nearest big city for shopping so we are in that area at least twice a month. It was neat to see pics of "home" on your website!
Congratulations on your 15th high point...I look forward to your next 35!
Glad to share my pictures with you. I started my blog mainly for our family and friends back in Oklahoma, but it has turned out to be quite a fun hobby.
