Steve,

Great site. Great pictures.Planning on coming to Colorado this summer and I ran across your page. Coming to Colorado with the family from Chicago...wife and kids, ages 7,10,13,14. We plan on going to Denver for a day or two and then I was looking for a good place to stay for five or six days to do some hiking, fishing, rafting etc. What would be your recommendation?

Hi Bill... I suggest Buena Vista, CO ...

Nice fishing at places like Turquoise Lake, Cottonwood Lake and even some high altitude lakes like Ptarmigan Lake. Arguably the best rafting in the state is in the upper Arkansas River valley. Camping? There's plenty of opportunities to camp out here.

Just my two cents.

Thanks for visiting my web site! happy.gif
