Saying that metric is worse than the customary system... is kind of, stupid, perhaps, well perhaps yes! Definitely! Where do you get 12 and 5,280 having anything in common, guess what! They don't! Basing everything off of ten is a very intelligent idea. You may be used of the Customary system, or just don't think you have to be like all other countries, Or are just stubborn. It's even easier to do. So why be mad at it? I am used to the customary system, and the metric, sort of. Also, I S-U-C-K at math, yet, whenever the time of year goes by for the metric system, i get a B+. How could that be? Could it be the possibility of basing everything off of ten? I suppose so, wait... I KNOW SO!
And about that hick thing. How about a hick from another country, talking in the customary system? 'Ehh? Sounds just as weird.

For what it's worth, I've received a lot of flack from people about that holiday.

I weight 200 pounds. I have no idea what that is in metric.
I just drove about 12 miles to the hot springs. (Don't care what that is in km.)
