You are so very right about every single word you wrote.I love each and every one of my residents as though they was my very own family member.I loast one of my most favorite residents a week ago Monday and i had just left the room a few minutes before she passed away,let me tell you one thing,me,and the 3 other aides as well as the med tech and charge nurse was in tears because we lost her.And another thing,i could never be a charge nurse because it would be the hardest thing to do is to have to call the family member to let them know thiere mother,father,grandmother,grandfather,aunt or uncle had passed,my charge nurse had to do the very thing when our resident passed last week,and she was crying as she told her.
