The best way to pursue this is to do some of your own research and start making phone calls. It will take a little time, but it's the only way you'll know.

You can get a local phone book, the 'yellow pages' or whatever the business listings are called, and start looking up nursing homes in the area. I am not sure how they will be classified in your phone book --- could be under hospital, medical, etc.

Then, you start calling, asking for someone in administration and asking if they offer a CNA-for-work program. Or, possibly go around in person to the facilities.

You can also search online and possibly find listings (name/address/phone) of medical facilities in your area. I've found that even in the Chicago area (as urban as it may be), many smaller nursing homes do not have websites and you still need to use your feet to do the walking, not the mouse. A lot of these smaller facilities still offer good opportunity, so don't be biased and think you'll do better looking at facilities with large advertisements or websites.
