I'm sorry, CNA work is the WORST. I adore the patients but I hate the way LTC is run. Management does nothing but dictate..sit and eat doritos while we bust our butt taking care of residents'. Then after a rough 8 hours they force you to stay longer because they have no staff. DUH. Who wants to do this work anymore and be treated like crap with little pay? Our management at my facility don't care if WE have a life, just theirs is important. They say they are in the facility long hours but they're not on the floor taking care of EVERYTHING like we are, big difference.
I'm looking for another job..a few years CNAs' will be extinct if someone don't step up to the plate and make this work less stressful, demanding and demeaning.
