I would go to your charge nurse or whoever you go to and let them know. If they don't want to do anything about it go over their head. As that patients family they have the right to know what is going on with that family member. Not to mention, if JACHO or whoever comes along and finds this out it could mean a lot of trouble for the facility you work in. Beleive it or not though, this is not uncommon in alot of places and as an aide we should stand up and do the right thing. What if that was your mother or grandmother, would you want to know?
