as a ministers wife and a child of god you know where your heart is guiding you. god gave us all gifts to use while we are here and if he gave you that gift and your heart is leading you there then that is your answer. Here are a few thoughts ......I know that CNA work can mean weekends holidays ect ect ect because the hospital never closes and it doesnt care if you had a bad day or how many children you have lol....What if you went for your MA that way you could get some phlebotomy and work in a doctors office which are usually closed weekends and holidays ?????some even open for 4 days a week! and it pays a little more than a CNA. I am in the "Patient Care Assistant Technician" course at Maric/Kaplan university. I have 4 children and some how it has all worked out. in this course we take the CNA course and state test, but we also do ICD-9 coding, data entry, rehabilitation aide, radiology aide, phlebotomy/injections. so technically I can do MA or CNA and the couple other things I mentioned. I know MA courses are under a year long. Sounds like your hubby is encouraging you to do what you are gifted with. Thats My two cents and I hope it all works out for you.
