Hi i just finished with my course and i am waiting to take my state exam. during the course we had clinicals at the nursing home, worked in the class room and did a lot of work in the lab hands on, we practiced on each other skills such as placing the resident on a bed pan , changing a occupied bed (which is with the resident in the bed), transfering the patient from the bed to the wheelchair, blood pressure , temp, pulse respiration, cleaning dentures w/ oral care. catheter care , feeding and a few more .
the test we took were very easy , definitions, abbreviations and so forth pretty much common sense and just out rite courtesy and respect.
