Well, I'm only speaking about what I have seen first hand. The SNF I worked in DID have two cna's who walked off there shift reported to the state and DID have them brought up on abuse charges. And yes, The family of one of the patients in their care did file a suit against the cna. AND their names WERE put in the registry. And guess what, they couldn't get a job any where except off the books by private paying individuals who did not have access to the cna registry because these were home care cases advertized in the local papers. So maybe the place I've worked in DID DO what was supposed to be done. As rediculous as that place can be, I give them credit for doing the moral thing. The right thing. So This is my experience.Maybe more people should be FULL OF BOLONEY.
