I sent a letter to the NY STate BON requesting information about any aides in the past 10 yrs who have lost, or had suspended or were in anyway sanctioned for issues related to abandonment. It will take a couple weeks to hear back from them.
And I have a legal assistant friend in NY state, Albany, researching for cases where an aide or two were sued for damages done when they left their jobs. So far, the LA cannot find anything. But again I asked for a 10 yr search.
