Lpn's here in PA can make 25-35 bucks an hour. The pay is higher up here, and yes there are facilities that have reimbursement programs. And, you are not reimbursed until after you pay for school entirely! Plus you take a pay cut. You are obligated to give them a certain number of years of employment. which is ok if you want to take that avenue. I thought and researched about this a long time, and after speaking with other LPN's and RN's, they suggest that with all my credits, I need to just enroll in a RN program. which I am in the process of now. They have bridge programs for majors like me. Allied Health Science.
Like I said, the brigde is great, espcially if you have kids or you are unsure, or you just really need the money now.
