In my personal experience, it is all common sense. I did not even study the first time I took the test-and I passed! You must remember the basics, such as handwashing, transferring of residents into wheelchair and into/out of bed, peri-care, footcare, and vital signs. Also remember how to deal with asparation precautions and tube feeders. I recommend getting the cna study guide from your local promissor. If you have done this already, It should come back like riding a bike, however you should still freshen up with a review book. Good Luck! |
