I have worked a lot of weekend option shifts. Saturday from 6a-6p and again on Sunday. They are hard and I'm always BEAT on Monday but most places offer more money on the hour if you work the weekends and you can always pick up shifts through the week if you like. Maybe you should look into that. Even if they don't have the weekend option shifts I would bet they have a hard time keeping the place staffed on the weekends so you can always just work the weekends.
