as long as your immune system is not compromised, you will be in decent shape. flesh-eating bacteria(necrotizing fasciitis), though more rare than people think, is a scary exception to this rule. The one that you should really be worried about in terms of becoming infected with something in the line of your work is hepatitis B. that is the vaccine that you should never turn down. get vaccinated, get a regular titer drawn and it will never be a problem. choose not to get vaccinated (they will make you sign a document to opt out of getting the vaccine) and you should then be terrified of hepatitis B. much easier to catch, you will always have it, can be sexually transmitted, and ends in a nasty death. if your immune system is compromised (let's assume HIV infection) a common bacteria known as cryptosporidium (pretty much in every glass of tap water that you drink) can send you to the grave quickly. when you have spare time, run the word mrsa through

the links to the other bugs out there are at the bottom.
you becoming infected with something should be low on your list of things to worry about, if you get vaccinated for hep B, and practice safely. treating every patient as if they are immunocompromised protects both the patient and you at the same time.
peace always,
