I can not answer for everyone else but for me taking the CNA course was more than worth it. Although I plan on staying with it. I am a new CNA just ceretified in may of this year. I started working about 5 weeks ago and I love it. It is all worth it when you have residents that smile, laugh and thank you for helping them. I am working at a great place and that can also make the difference. Yes the tasks you mentioned....bathing, cleaning up messes etc. are all part of what CNA's do and much more. As far as you taking the course if you only plan on being with it for a year or so....I can't answer that one. I am glad I took the course I learned so much practicl and clinical. It was more than worth it. Good luck!!
