I have been private duty CNA for 5 years.(2003) Totally love it! I just recently found out that a law was changed that in 2004 private duty must be under a supervision of nurse or home health agency. During this time I also worked with the local hospital in a small town in Wyoming. Someone has now reported me for not being under the supervision as described above. There are many in the area that I know aren't licensed but do not call themselves CNA but a non medical caregiver. I guess I never thought to check if the law has changed. Many people knew I was a CNA private duty but the new law just never came up. Has anyone else in private duty encountered this? Thanks
