You are all funny. Don't you know that the pt's disappear starting around the end of visiting hours and they start to come back around when day shift comes in!!! Why there is a night shift is beyond me....I have only been doing it for about 26yrs now...we do not exsist....except when something goes wrong of course!!!! The higher ups and even the families do not know there is a night shift. Days and eves but not nights. We go out once a year for breakfast....Christmas in July, where all of the nights shift are taken out and there is a person who donates the money for it. As the saying goes, the night shift is like a mushroom....fed sh_t and kept in the dark. We are also the last to find out things. The only good thing about nights is that there are no higher ups and no visitors!!!! |
