Thanks Dawn. It sounds scary but I think too if I could get past that and go down in person and apply. I hear that the hospital here puts you through a 2 week PCT course and calls you THAT after completion for THEIR HOSPITAL.
I applied for an oncology floor that said CNA. I checked a week later and the job was no longer posted. Originally, my returned verification email said I would be considered for other like jobs. Well, I guess this nurse told me to go down to the main office in person.....but I still see several listings left. I think that it would be interesting and just a littled scared. Now I see the same several postings left in the area hospitals and the hours are more three 12-hour shifts at night for Telemetry, is one mentioned, haha. In otherwords, it seems that three 12-hour shifts are more plentiful than day shifts. I will never know if I don't go....right.....I know somewhat about a nursing home....I know about home health.....but to me...like you say its a preference and we can only figure this out by working....(its nice to know something though) Its so nice to hear something positive though....if you think the doctors and nurses are pretty nice and we get training and its certainly better benefits...I guess I will just need to stay competent, LOL and realize its probably where I belong if I can land a position. Its frustrating...Its like you have 7 more openings in the Baycare system, why haven't you called me? LOL THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INPUT | |
