Response to Does age matter?

No. There is no age limit. It would be illegal to have one.

Having said that, age doesn't matter so much as having the stamina and strength to do this work. Being on your feet for 8 plus hours, lifting, tugging, rolling, pushing people in beds, in wheelchairs, into and out of beds onto commodes- is required. As long as you're reasonably healthy there is no reason to worry about age. I know CNA's who are in their 50's, 60's and 70's who do excellent work.
