CNAs adjusting Oxygen?

July 1 2009 at 10:44 PM
Mike

I have always thought that adjusting oxygen or changing oxygen tanks was the duty of a nurse, usually a LPN or LVN performs this procedure. Do CNAs in various states perform this function? I've tried searching the Illinois code and I can find no specific information on this topic. Thanks.
