Tell them not to forget what they learned in class - especially how to treat the residents. Encourage them to call on thier fellow classmates for help later. Tell them not to compromise themselves even if that means going against the grain. Welcome them and tell them you are a source of encouragement for them if they need it. CNAs are the heart of all SNFs!!
