ok so here it goes......administrater in my nursing home i work at is horrible.....we have her ex sister-n-law as a resident in our nursing home....who is dieing of something or another and so the boss says we are to do whatever she wants us to do no matter what since shes still in her right mind....cant talk but can use her right hand to write everything she wants but just cannot seem to move her glasses back which we have seen her do many of times,can push that call light every 2 minutes for nothing...or the same things.....and the boss says this resident comes BEFORE every resident we have in the building.....everyone of us is beside ourselves with this....i for one had a horrible weekend...i work 11-7 shift...felt like the entire weekend i wasnt able to give my other residents the proper care they deserve and pay to have....this resident had all 3 of us aides plus a nurse in that room every 2 minutes for the same things and sometimes it was for nothing and had the call light back on before we even left the room....if you say anything to her she will report you to the boss....she has managed to get one nurse and our DON fired...several people suspended.....all while our other residents suffer.....our boss speaks to every single one of her employees like we are dirt ....threatens us all with our jobs every single day....everyone of us walk around on eggshells all the time the tension in the building is so bad you could cut it with a knife and we are all at our wits end....shes very unreasonable....asks us for suggestions but when we try to give her any then she cuts us off before we get them out and is horrible to us....she has admitted in front of everyone of us about makeing her own mother cry all the while with her smirky grin on her face and her mother in the room....her mother is the dieatician superviser....everyone isafraid for thiere jobs because of her and just dont know what to do....any help or suggestions would be helpful....you can e-mail me anytime
