9/6/02 - Nestor refuses to lie about Pablo. When Alejo's parents see the bruise on his face. Alejo tells them that it was a tipo in a bar, he even explains why Nestor didn't help.
Maria tells her friend Silvana she thinks there is something strange in Pablo's life. Rodolfo starts an email correspondence with Maria's friend. When he writes that he is having problems with his boss; she tells him one should do everything for loyalty. They make a date to meet on the beach. He tells her he doesn't have a good photo to send her.
Alejo tells his father his car will be delivered in a couple of days. When they live, Nestor thanks Alejo but he tells him he has only 24 hours until he turns in Pablo or Alejo tells his father that it was Nestor who hit him.
Antonio calls Sofia. When he tells her he can't see her because Ligia is there, she tells him to forget about him. He tries to change her mind, then tells her he will be there in 15 minutes. He tells Ligia that Bernardo called him.
Antonio assures Sofia that he is about to divorce Ligia. She tells him that Ligia isn't about to divorce him, was in the gym working out, told her her marriage was wonderful. Antonio tells Sofia that nobody broadcasts marriage problems. Sofia tells him she wants to cancel everything, the personal as well as the business. She tells him that she wants everything to be in both their names, not like the way it was with Eduardo where some things were in her name and others in his.
Ligia tells Antonio she can talk with Sofia in the gym about selling. He tells her she doesn't need to exercise. She tells him that she wants to look good for their trip. When he asks what trip, she tells him their trip to China at the end of the week. Bernardo can take care of the business.
Pablo tells Susy about Cindy. But when Maria calls, Susana insists that he talk with her. Maria tells him she is worried, doesn't understand by he can't come, asks if he really loves her.
Jenny flirts outrageously with Wilson while he is looking at the want ads. He tries to put her off, but she says she knows he likes her a bit. Just as Jenny kisses him, her mother Tulia enters the room.
Federico asks Rodolfo how their "business" is doing. Rodolfo recalls the words of Maria's friend about loyalty. He tells Federico it is his business, he doesn't want a peso, but he'll do whatever Federico tells him to do. Rodolfo tells Federico the "business" is going well; they'll have the money in about 10 days. The timing is perfect for Federico because it coincides with the flower sale. Then the two of them will leave Colombia. Federico tells him that the gringa's father has a business in Miami where he expects to get a job. When Federico tells Rodolfo that Maria asked to see the savings account record, Rodolfo gets really nervous. Federico calms him down, says everything will come out anyways [I think}, but they will be out of the country and untouchable.
Federico tells his gringa Annie that his wallet was stolen, with all his money, credit cards, etc., asks for a loan.
Johana confronts Jenny about what she told Wilson and guesses that Jenny likes him. Johanna tells her that Wilson would never get interested in a girl, that she lacks several years for being a woman. Jenny tells her she is wrong.
Cindy tells her father she has cancelled everything re the wedding and lies when he asks her where the money is, because they are in need of cash in the business.
Bernardo tells Antonio he has to make a choice: the land or his wife.
In the gym, Ligia asks Sofia if she was one of the women with whom Antonio was in Cartagena, asks her if Antonio gave her some jewelry. Sofia tells Ligia that she thought their marriage was in trouble. Ligia tells her she is wrong; they are taking a trip to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. Sofia says she can't believe it. Ligia asks her why it bothers her, demands again to know if Antonio gave her some jewelry.
07-12-2000 Jenny escucha una sospechosa conversación entre Johana y Milady. Federico hace aparecer a María ante Alejo como una mujer lanzada. Pablo decide hablar con Rafael para informarle que no se casa con Cindy. Wilson descubre a Cristian cuando está a punto de salir de viaje. Wilson se entera que los repuestos son robados.
11-12-2000 Rafael consiente a Cindy mientras le dice que es mejor que no se haya casado. Cristian busca a Cindy. Wilson y Pablo se toman una cerveza y hablan de su viaje y Genaro llega a acompañarlos. Alejandro le pide un carro a su papá y le asegura que ya aprendió la lección. 12-12-2000 Antonio está preocupado porque Ligia no llega a la casa y la llama al celular. Pablo les dice a Wilson y a Genaro que se va a buscar a una mujer. Ligia le dice a Antonio que se va a demorar porque está comiendo con Virginia. Wilson le cuenta a Genaro que la hermana de Herminio esta que se muere por él. Antonio llama a Sofía. 13-12-2000 Cindy va a la tienda para hablar con doña Tulia y le cuenta lo que Pablo habló con Rafael. Pablo pide vacaciones en el trabajo y sugiere como remplazo a Nestor, además le cuenta al coronel que se va a Estados Unidos en busca de María. María va a almorzar con Silvana pero está algo indispuesta, piensan en un posible embarazo. 14-12-2000 Antonio le dice a Bernardo que Ligia está muy rara y además hablan de su amante, Sofía. Ligia se inscribe al mismo gimnasio de Sofía donde se encuentran. Cindy le pide a su papá dos cheques para comprar un carro y le cuenta a Juancho de sus planes para ir a visitar a María. 15-12-2000 Alejandro va al banco a cambiar el cheque. Pablo le cuenta a Susy que don Ismael les permitió viajar en su avión. Alejandro, después de cambiar el cheque, se va al casino y sigue con su mala racha. Pablo llama a Wilson para contarle que lo del viaje salió.
18-12-2000 Jenny descubre que Cindy está embarazada. Por su parte María se hace una prueba de embarazo animada por Silvana. Alejandro sigue perdiendo dinero en el juego. Pablo llama a María a Miami. 19-12-2000 Rafael hecha a Wilson de la casa. Yenny le cuenta a Pablo sobre el embarazo de Cindy, Pablo no le cree y le dice que debe ser otra patraña de Cindy. La prueba de embarazo de María sale positiva y ella piensa en viajar a Colombia para contárselo a Pablo. Alejandro se le escapa a Nestor para volver al casino. 20-12-2000 Wilson se va a vivir a casa de doña Tulia y Yenny piensa que esta es la oportunidad para conquistarlo. Pablo se desespera por la noticia del embarazo de Cindy y sale a tomarse unos tragos solo. Pablo le cuenta a Wilson que su hermana está embarazada. Nestor encuentra a Alejandro en el casino y tienen un fuerte altercado. 21-12-2000 María recuerda que Federico tiene la tarjeta de su cuenta y decide pedírsela. Además le cuenta a su papá que Pablo no puede llegar en la fecha acordada y que ella hará un viaje. Pablo se encuentra en misa con Cindy y le dice que tiene que hablar con ella. Por su parte, Cindy ya se enteró que Pablo sabe lo del embarazo. Yenny le dice a Wilson que Johana no lo quiere y éste le hace el reclamo a Johana. 22-12-2000 Pablo le dice a Wilson que ya no va a visitar a María. María habla con Silvana y quedan desconcertadas con la reacción de Federico. Alejandro le dice a Nestor que no le contará nada a Antonio a cambio de que Nestor haga un trabajo sucio. Silvana y Rodolfo a través del chat hablan de conocerse.
09-01-2001 Rodolfo le informa a Federico que el negocio de las flores le dejará mucho dinero, pero que él no será su socio. Ligia le dice a Antonio que tiene listo un viaje de aniversario a la China. Tulia le aconseja a Pablo no casarse con María. Johana le reclama a Jenny por haberle contado a Wilson lo que pensaba en su relación. Federico le pide a Annie que le preste dinero.

Nestor intenta contarle a Pablo sobre los planes de Alejandro en su contra. Pablo le cuenta a Antonio que Cindy está embarazada. Antonio no puede disimular su malestar con una 'amiguita' que Berni le consiguió. María viaja de sorpresa a Colombia, José Ramón presiente que algo no está bien.
José Ramón le pregunta a Rodolfo por qué le reportaron a uno de sus proveedores daño en el diez por ciento de su envío. Nestor logra meter el cheque en la billetera de Pablo. Alejo se las ingenia para que Antonio descubra el cheque entre los papeles de Pablo. María y Silvana llegan a Bogota y se hospedan en un hotel. Cindy se sorprende cuando Pablo le dice que tampoco quiere casarse con ella.
Ligia interroga a Sofía y descubre que Antonio y Berni están diciendo mentiras. Ambas terminan muy molestas con Antonio. Federico descubre que María viajó a Bogotá. Ligia le cuenta a Alejo sobre las andanzas de Antonio. Susy investiga uno de los cheques y descubre que lo cobró Nestor. Antonio hace llamar a Nestor.
Martes 09-10-2002
Pablo pone a Alejo y a Nestor contra la pared buscando aclarar lo del robo de los cheques. Alejo le confiesa a Antonio que perdió el dinero en el casino. Pablo trata de explicarle a Alejandro que no intenta quitarle el cariño de Antonio. María llega a casa de Antonio buscando a Pablo y se encuentra con Ligia que la confunde con otra amante de su esposo. En medio de la confusión las dos gritan pero escuchan de una manera muy diferente. Maria sale de esa casa creyendo que Pablo es un hombre casado mientras Sofía desenmascara a Antonio. Rafael no le cree a su hija cuando le dice que está embarazada. Silvana trata de calmar a María pero ella decide que se devuelven de inmediato a Miami. Antonio encuentra listas sus maletas, Ligia le cuenta todo lo que pasó con María y lo acusa de andar ahora con jovencitas. Rafael busca a Pablo para elegir entre casarse o perder a su hijo. Antonio busca refugio en Sofía.
Miércoles 09-11-2002
Pablo busca a Cindy para proponerle matrimonio. Ligia le informa a los escoltas que Antonio ya no vive en la casa. Pablo adivina y se va a esperarlo a casa de Sofía. Wilson le dice a Cindy que no podrá acompañarla a la ceremonia. Antonio le cuenta a Berni todo lo que sucedió entre María y Ligia. Pablo pide hablar con Antonio. Antonio le cuenta a Pablo todo el incidente de María. Pablo le pide a Susy que lo ayude a ubicarla. Ligia acusa a Antonio de la situación mental de Alejo. Antonio decide despedir a Nestor pero Alejo pide que lo dejen como su escolta. Rodolfo le aconseja a Federico luchar por María. Alejandro le hace algunas confesiones a Nestor.
Jueves 09-12-2001
Silvana le pregunta a María si tendrá al niño. Ligia intenta acecarse a Antonio pero él se muestra digno. Pablo intenta hablar con María para explicarle la verdad. Ismael le entrega a Wilson los uniformes para colarse en el aeropuerto. Sofía le habla a Antonio de matrimonio. Paola le hace una propuesta indecente a Nestor. Alejo trata de dominarse ante el juego. Susy le confirma a Antonio que ya está listo el regalo de matrimonio de Cindy y Pablo. Eduardo aparece sorpresivamente en casa de Sofía y ella le confiesa que tiene relaciones sexuales con Antonio. Jenny le pide a Cindy que la ayude a que Wilson no olvide su última noche en Colombia. José Ramón se entera que Flores de la Siembra y Pablo Guerrero no están registrados en ningún lugar.
Viernes 09-13-2001
María le aclara a José Ramón que Pablo y Antonio Santamaría son socios, Alcalá casi se muere con la noticia. Al enterarse del matrimonio de Federico, Annie Mills le exige que le pague el dinero que le prestó. Ana le cuenta toda la verdad a María sobre Antonio, Ligia y José Ramón. Antonio se inventa la mentira más grande de su vida para dejar a Sofía. Tratando de impedir que Ligia suba al apartamento de Sofía, Pablo le cuenta algunas cosas sobre María, pero sólo logra empeorar las cosas. José Ramón intenta desquitar su furia con Federico quien pacientemente debe aguantar todo. José Ramón recibe una última puñalada, esta vez con la verdad de María ( que esta embarazada de Pablo). Ligia y Sofía deciden hablar a solas

9/9/02 - Nestor and Efrain talk. Efrain tells Nestor about some bodyguard who turned up drunk twice and will never work as a bodyguard again, the only think he didn't do was hit one of his charges.
Maria and Silvana ask the secretary to buy tickets to Bogota but tell her father they are to Miami. Federico and the gringa run into Maria and Silvana. Rodolfo then greets them and asks where Federico is. Silvana calls him a bobo after he passes them. Maria and Silvana pack. Silvana tells Mari she should marry Pablo: she's 23, he's 28, plenty old enough. JR appears to say goodbye to the girls. Maria convinces her father she won't need a bodyguard in New York. Her mother gives her instructions on what to buy for her.
Nestor greets Herminio, says he has to talk to him. Herminio tells Nestor he has to learn to solve his problems with Alejandro or he isn't the person he thought he was. Nestor goes to Alejo's office, apologizes for hitting him. Alejo accepts his apology but is still going to tell his father. Nestor tells him if he does that, he'll lose his job as a bodyguard and he needs that to support his family. Nestor agrees to do what Alejo tells him: to put a check into Pablo's wallet.
Antonio tells Pablo he can tell Maria the truth. It bothers Pablo that all that interests Antonio is to see the face of JR when he learns the truth. Antonio warns him that JR will keep him from ever seeing her again. Pablo tells him he doesn't expect to see her after he tells her the truth. He tells Antonio that Cindy is pregnant.
Jenny tries to get Cindy to help her make Johana's life a misery after Wilson leaves.
Pablo tells Susana he doesn't know what to tell Maria first: that he is a bodyguard or that he works for Antonio.
While Pablo changes a tire (without his jack et) , Nestor puts the check in the wallet in his jacket.
Jenny takes something to eat to Wilson in his bedroom. Wilson apologizes for being brusque with her. She says it's ok, starts to leave, then returns and gives him a big kiss, runs away.
Antonio's whole family and the bodyguards get in the car. When they get out, Alejo leaves the wallet in the back seat. Alejo congratulates Nestor for doing his "job".
Johana tells her firend about what Jenny did, swears she isn't jealous.
Pablo has Susana place the call to Maria. Her mother answers, tells him that Maria has gone to New York for 4 days with Silvana.
As Antonio is about to leave in his car, Alejo runs out, says he forgot his wallet. Antonio finds his wallet in the back seat. Alejo tells him that his check and his money are gone. Alejo suggest that one of the guards could have stolen it. Pablo orders another guard to search him and Alvaro. The check is found in Pablo's wallet. Alejo demands that Antonio call the police, but Antonio smells something fishy. Alejo tells Nestor it went off perfectly. Pablo tells Antonio he doesn't know how the money he got in his wallet. Antonio blieves him but fears he will discover that Alejo is worse than he thought. After Antonio leaves, Alvaro tells Pablo it had to have been Alejo. Pablo agrees, but doesn't know how. Antonio finds Bernardo waiting for him. Bernardo asks him about his wife and mistress. Antonio tells him about the check.
JR gets a call, hangs up and demands to see Federico. He isn't there so he demands to see Rodolfo. He asks Rodolfo to explain what happened to a delivery of flowers. Rodolfo tells him that some were wilted, but JR knows they were in perfect condition. Rodolfo gives JR some kind of explanation, then takes the blame for what happened. JR tells Rodolfo he doesn't blame him, is sure that it was Federico.
Maria and Silvana check into their hotel.

USA 9/10/02 - Pablo tells his mother he has to marry Cindy. She tells him he is responsible for the child, but doesn't have to marry Cindy. She tells him it is his decision, but she will support whatever decision he makes. Pablo goes to Cindy and tells her she is going to marry him and give their child a name and a home. She refuses, acts really angry.
While Ligia exercises at home, her maid Gladys gives her a receipt she found in Antonio's suitcase, from a jewelry in Cartagena.
Rodolfo tells Federico about his meeting with JR, tells him they won't be able to get all the money he expected.
Federico discovers that Maria has gone to Colombia not to New York. Then he goes to see JR, tells him that Janet Martin acknowledges receipt of all the flowers. JR tells Federico there is something about Pablo Guerrero that worries him. He was supposed to come to Miami this weekend but cancelled. Federico agrees with his assessment. JR tells Federico that he has already paid for the flowers, sent a credit letter.
Antonio discovers that Susy has been doing the work he assigned to Alejo.
