It is with light heart and heavy kidneys that we come to you today.
Well who'd have thought? Last January we drove through an Arctic blizzard to play the Lion Inn, so what do we do this year? That's right, we book a gig in January at Blakey Ridge and the day before we're due to go it starts snowing. Now don't get me wrong, I love snow as much as the next person, but if it hadn't been for those lovely people who got the Saxo Table Salt out and cleared the road for us that'd have been that.
Another great night and we're already looking forward to the next one. Many thanks to Blakey Paul, Sir Seb and all the others who always make it such a pleasure to visit (apart from the Nazi-Cleaners of course who wake us up around 9ish after a mere hour or so's sleep).
P.S. Don't have epic-late-night snowball fights without warming up, very bad for the shoulder muscles. |
